The Norton Sound is a longline catcher processor. Redesigned and rebuilt in 1998 at Duwamish Shipyard In Seattle, Washington, the Norton Sound  has state-of-the-art fishing and processing equipment and is known throughout Alaska's longline fishing industry as one of the fleet's top producers.
