Vessel Positions
Factory Technician Requires minimum of 2-years’ experience working on a factory vessel conducting repairs, fabrication and maintenance in factory. Positive work references required. All Vessels
Processor Entry level position. Sort fish by species, tend and operate machines, hand fillet whole fish, and inspect the product to meet Glacier Fish Company standards of quality. May also be responsible for packing, weighing, labeling, placing the product in freezers, loading and unloading supplies on the vessel, cleaning the factory equipment, and performing other duties as assigned. Positive work references required. All Vessels
First Cook Prepare and cook family-style meals and bake for crew. Experience working onboard factory vessels preferred. Positive work references and food workers permit required. Northern Glacier
Bosun Seeking experienced bosun for H&G factory trawler to ensure safe and efficient deck operation. Responsibilities include supervising and training all deck personnel in operations and safety; making repairs and adjustments to fishing gear and equipment as needed; operating cranes, winches or other lifting equipment; and working with GFC and suppliers to plan ongoing fishing repairs, purchases and changes in equipment technology. Positive work references, crane and forklift certification, and team firefighting training required. Northern Glacier
