The Northern Glacier is a model
of fishing technology designed by Jensen Maritime of Seattle
specifically for fishing conditions off the Alaska coast.
Powered by a 3000 horsepower Bergen diesel engine, and
equipped with the latest Baader processing machinery and Kvaerner Klude refrigeration, the Northern Glacier handles up
to 45 metric tons of Alaska cod and pollock production per
day.
