For that reason, we are pleased
to be part of the
Pollock Conservation Cooperative,
a fish harvesting cooperative designed to replace the
Olympic-style, “race for fish” system, and instead allow us to
fish and process at a more rational, deliberate pace. Under the
cooperative system, the allowable Alaska pollock harvest has
been divided among the member companies. This change has allowed
us to take the time to more fully utilize the fish we catch, and
to produce the top quality Alaska pollock products you expect
from Glacier Fish.
